Recently, I was invited to answer the question “How do I remove Blu-ray region code from a Blu-ray disc?” on Quora. Similar to DVDs, Blu-ray disc also has region coding but there are just three regions for Blu-ray. However, as for the question, to be honest, it is NOT possible to do to so since the Blu-ray disc is read-only.

Recently, I am ripping one of my DVDs to MP4 and I am quite satisfied with the video quality but I find the DVD sound volume is too low to hear. I tried a couple of DVD ripping programs and found DVDFab to be the only one that is able to increase or boost the volume by up to 500%, while others only go up to 200%.
