There are a great many ways to save a ripped DVD. Some would like to rip and save DVDs to local hard drive, some would like to save on a USB or external drive, some on a NAS. For whatever reason that you want your Bluray DVD collection in digital files, mine is that I can store those files on cloud drives like Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud, DropBox, pCloud, Baidu and stream them anytime, from anywhere.
My personal Windows 7 doesn’t have DVD drive and have no external USB drive neither. I see a lot of guides on Google that shows you how to convert VOB files to MP4 AVI WMV or whatever video format you need but I don’t think they are quite clear and a major of those so-called VOB converters are giving me trouble when it comes to VOB files that are in a PROTECTED DVD disc especially those from Disney.
