There are quite some ripping solutions say they support Bluray ripping, Sothink Bluray Ripper and Xilisoft Bluray Ripper are two of them. However, how do they work and do Sothink and Xilisoft Bluray Ripper support protected Blu-rays?
With a large collection of DVDs and plenty of space on my 2TB hard drive, I’d always like to rip and backup my DVDs to my library in its fastest way in order digitize my whole DVD collections. So, what is the fastwast way to rip and backup DVDs to HDD on Windows 10, Windows 8/8.1 and Windows 7?
I want a DVD ripper that is able to handle protections from different DVD manufacturers like Disney, Beachbody, DreamWorks, Paramount etc to hard drive, iPhone and iPad. It would be great if the DVD ripper is able to take full advantage of all the 8 cores or use other technologies to speed up the ripping and save time. And, I must say WonderFox DVD Video Converter is the one that truly does the job.
I have Aimersoft DVD Ripper for Mac in hope that it will rip a personal DVD which I could not with other free ripping software MakeMKV and Handbrake. Unfortunately, it was not able to do so either.
As a result of the software failure to rip the DVD properly, I decided to try some other DVD rippers.
I try to visit MakeMKV.com recently around Sep. 2017, only to find all MakeMKV website, including its main site and the forum, is down and suspended. There is the most current beta key code as well as an alternative for MakeMKV beta version which can be used in Windows, macOS and Linux versions for Bluray and DVD ripping.
Wonder Woman seems to come with a new AACS, BD+ or MKB protection but Leawo Blu-ray Ripper is able to handle it, making it perfect Wonder Woman Blu-ray Ripper. Not only does this Wonder Woman Blu-ray Ripper rip directly to MP4 or MKV, AVI for you, but you are also free to crop, trim or add watermark to your Wonder Woman copies! Besides, it runs on the latest macOS High Sierra and Windows 10.
Does Wondershare Support Bluray Ripping? I have tested a couple of Bluray rippers, however I found some of them just don’t work on protected DVDs like Xilisoft Blu-ray Ripper and Sothink Blu-ray Ripper. You may have to use third-party plugins so as to rip protected Blu-rays. Here I’d like to recommend you two for protected Blu-ray ripping.
I am quite wondering if there are 64 bit DVD rippers for macOS 10.13 High Sierra and if those 32 bit DVD rippers will still be working on High Sierra when system softwares on the Mac will be updated in October?
