There are a great many ways to save a ripped DVD. Some would like to rip and save DVDs to local hard drive, some would like to save on a USB or external drive, some on a NAS. For whatever reason that you want your Bluray DVD collection in digital files, mine is that I can store those files on cloud drives like Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud, DropBox, pCloud, Baidu and stream them anytime, from anywhere.
If you are looking for a more straight-forward way to rip Bluray DVD directly to MP4 AVI WMV and even 3D formats like 3D MKV and 3D MP4, I’d like to recommend an awesome MakeMKV and Handbrake alternative for you-Leawo Bluray Ripper.
I gathered a copy of Leawo DVD Ripper when it was given away, and it worked me very good on rip DVD VTS files to MP4, like Cize as well as other encrypted DVDs including Hunger Games Catching Fire and Divergent and I have ripped them to iPhone 7. However, the program is for DVDs only. I have a bigger screen new iPad and a copy protected Bluray disc Dawn of the Planet of the Apes. I assume watching Bluray movies on bigger screens like iPad as well as Apple TV would be of extreme fun.
